The Pacific Music Awards
The Pacific Music Awards celebrate Pacific creativity and talent.The 2007 were announced and the Best Pacific Group was Spacifix, Best Pacific Male Artist was Chong-Nee and the Best Pacific Female Artist was Asradhna.
The 2006 Pacific Music Awards were held on May 12th, during New Zealand Music Month. Some of the winners were:
- Best Pacific Feamle Artist: Annie Puletiuatoa
- Most Promising Artist: Richard Recalde
- Best Pacific Music Album: Mama, by Mt Vaea Band
