The Internet has been compared to the frontier stage of the American Wild west.
               -It is a lawless zone where outlaws and friendlier settlers live side by side.

                 ...wily criminals play for big stakes and rip money off people
               - Every day new social spaces are created: some friendly some not.
How can young people use the web safely?
               - there are no international rules tied to domain names. WHY ? But there are decisions made on some issues.
               - There are battles between those who want to fence off areas for commercial profit and those who want to keep it open public space. The creative commons is an example of this.
